Meet the Cherry Picker Tiny Home
The Cherry Picker design was created by Build Tiny in Kati Kati. We (at Kiwi Tiny Home) think this design would suit many people.
Designed for clients drawn to the idea of a tiny house. They are a well-traveled couple that often has friends and family visiting from overseas for long periods and wanted a space that could become a home away from home for their loved ones.
The Cherry Picker Tiny House is something very different to the usual build the team at Build Tiny construct. At 2.9m wide it's was their first overwidth tiny house. The tiny house has one large loft and feels very open and spacious. There are many accents of beautiful recycled native Rimu timber throughout the house including a stunning bookshelf made by a local craftsman. It's hard to talk about this house and not mention the stunning views overlooking farmlands and the ocean, placements of windows were carefully considered to make the most of the panoramic vista on offer.
About the Build Tiny team
Build Tiny is a small family business with big aspirations for Tiny Homes.
In 2016/17, Gina designed and built her own Tiny House with Brother-in-Law Jason. The whole family got involved and had so much fun in the process. We saw a need for reliable, experienced Tiny House builders, and felt as though they would make the dream team. With Jason as a builder, Gina as a designer, Amy with her management experience, and parents Ian and Diane with their extensive experience in running their own business it was decided to break all the rules and go into business together - and so Build Tiny Ltd was born!
Since then they have taken on an incredible team of builders, cabinet makers and boat builders with exceptional skill and experience.
